Judah loves visiting the kids in school, and the kids love having him! Each one wants to take a picture and pose with them. It’s so fun to see the joy on their faces.

Lunchtime smiles! We are hoping to build a lunchroom for the kids soon so that they can eat in the shade. Until then, the kids still enjoy the fresh air and cool breeze that an outdoor lunch provides.
Sometimes you just need some extra hands to help you drive and some extra smiles to brighten your day.
This is us holding a typical meeting in the village. No shiny projectors, no printed agendas, just all of us crammed together under the shade of one tree in the area. We were holding interviews for some new sponsorship kids. We’d love for them to join school, would you consider sponsoring today? Link in bio
April is normally a holiday month for the kids, this time they got an extra 2 weeks off because of COVID-19, so they are itching to go back to school already. We are counting down the days when this crisis is under control and life and go back to normal.
Never a dull moment at our school. The ceilings are going up in the newest building! They will help keep the rooms cool as the hot air escapes up, leaving the kids nice and cool. It’s cool to see how the carpenters work with very basic tools; they are very innovative.
Sponsorship does so much more than just put kids in school. They are daily hearing about the love of God, and learning who they are in Christ. Many of the parents have come to know Jesus simply by hearing what their kids are learning in school. The church is thriving, and the Gospel is going out!
Meet Mwanamisi. She is the first of her family to graduate high school. She comes from a broken home and lives in an at-risk area, yet she has changed the cycle of poverty in her life. She is now studying at a graduate beauty school so she can learn a trade and generate income. We are so proud of her hard work and dedication to her future. Stories like hers give us a reason to get up and keep going every day.
Have you ever wondered what a typical home might look like in our area? This is home to one of our eighth grade girls. She, her mother and her 3 siblings all share the bed, and sleep under the tattered mosquito net. Before sponsorship, her mother struggled to provide food for the kids, but now they get 2 hot meals a day, which is a big blessing to the whole family.
Our kids love getting letters from their sponsors! They go over each word carefully, sounding out the English and practicing their letters. It’s precious to see how much they treasure these letters. It means so much to them knowing that someone on the other side of the world is praying and cheering them on.
